A community for everyone in Denmark who works with the brain and nervous system. We connect researchers across universities, hospitals and industry, and speak for Danish neuroscience at home and abroad.

Members of DSfN are automatically members of FENS, the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies.

DSfN is a convergence of minds passionate about neuroscience. We represent Danish neuroscientists internationally and act as a collective voice on research and science policy.

Membership is open to scientists working in neuroscience in Denmark, from PhD students to professors and researchers in industry. New members are proposed by two existing members and approved by the board.

Through DSfN you become part of the European neuroscience community, and you get a say in how the field is represented in national and international organisations.

    Short talks from early-career researchers, followed by the annual general assembly and a reception for members.

How to join

  1. Find two members to propose you

    Colleagues or supervisors who are already members of DSfN.

  2. Apply online

    Fill in the application and pay the membership fee.

  3. The board approves

    You are then also a member of FENS.
